BYZANTINE Name Debut CD

West Virginia's BYZANTINE have set "The Fundamental Component" as the title for their debut album, due on February 10, 2004 through Prosthetic Records. "[At first] we were not going to even name the album," the band write on their web site. "Just let it be our self-titled debut. But, in order to draw distinction from the DK [Entertainment] European release, which is untitled and scheduled to come out who knows when, and also to have more marketing potential, we decided on naming it."

Having cut their teeth touring and playing shows with everyone from LAMB OF GOD to NORA to LACUNA COIL, BYZANTINE will embark on a national run in early January. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.
